Candiates should have passed the Bachelor of Education Examination of the Pondicherry University or of any other in the 10+2+3 steam or a Degree of any other University accepted as equivalent, in any school subjects and they have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Part III of the Bachelor's Degree course or Master's Degree course. A Minimum of 45% marks for OBC, MBC and Physically Challenged and 40% marks for SC and ST candidates
